Affiliate Program Terms
These terms govern approved affiliates who refer customers to Plotspace.
1. Eligibility and enrollment
You must apply, be approved by Plotspace, and accept the program terms assigned to you before you can earn commissions. Approval is discretionary and may be paused or declined. You must provide accurate account information and may not refer yourself or use misleading, unlawful, spammy, or unauthorized promotion methods.
These terms apply when you accept them in your Plotspace account. The program version and terms presented to you at approval govern your participation, subject to applicable law.
2. Referral attribution
Referral links use a browser cookie that lasts up to 90 days. If the referral is captured when a new customer account is created, the account is recorded once against that affiliate. Attribution cannot be reassigned through self-referrals, duplicate accounts, or later requests to replace a recorded referrer. Browser settings, deletion, or device changes may prevent attribution.
3. Commission and Plotspace gross profit
The standard program offer is 25% of Plotspace gross profit for eligible usage by each referred customer during the first 12 months after signup. The program version assigned to your account controls; terms may differ between program versions.
For each eligible usage event, commissionable gross profit means the net value of paid credits consumed, less the directly attributable model/provider cost recorded for that event. Gross profit cannot be less than zero. General company overhead and payment-processing fees are not allocated to usage. Commission is the applicable rate multiplied by commissionable gross profit.
Only usage with sufficiently reliable revenue and direct-cost data is eligible. Free or promotional credits, credits issued through affiliate commission conversion, refunded or reversed credits, administrative grants, test usage, and usage whose direct cost cannot be determined are excluded. Calculations may be corrected for clear errors and are based on Plotspace usage and ledger records.
4. Holding period and commission adjustments
Eligible commission is held for 30 days before it becomes available for conversion. The holding period allows usage and ledger entries to settle; it does not guarantee that every entry will remain eligible.
Plotspace may reverse or correct commission associated with failed, refunded, reversed, duplicated, fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise ineligible activity. Corrections may create a negative commission balance that offsets future commissions. Adjustments appear in your account history.
5. Credit conversion
Available commission may be converted into Plotspace credits at the program version’s rate of 10,000 credits per €1. Converted credits are for use in Plotspace and do not generate further affiliate commission.
6. Promotion and disclosures
Affiliates must use honest, substantiated claims, comply with applicable advertising, consumer-protection, privacy, and platform rules, and clearly disclose their material connection to Plotspace wherever they share a referral link or recommendation. Do not make earnings guarantees or imply Plotspace endorses content without permission.
Do not use unsolicited bulk messages, deceptive redirects, paid search terms that impersonate Plotspace, cookie stuffing, fake accounts, or other practices that manipulate attribution or harm customers or Plotspace.
7. Program changes, suspension, and termination
Program rates, durations, and other settings are versioned. A new offer applies to affiliates who accept that version. Your accepted program version applies to your participation, and each commission entry retains the rate recorded when calculated. Plotspace may pause enrollment or suspend an account while investigating suspected violations.
On termination, eligible settled commission remains subject to adjustments and credit-conversion rules. Plotspace may withhold or reverse commissions resulting from fraud, abuse, or other program violations, subject to applicable law.
8. Taxes and reporting
Affiliates are responsible for determining and meeting their tax and reporting obligations relating to participation in the program and any credits received. Plotspace may provide information to tax authorities when required by law.
